Afton / No appeal ahead in Cedar Bluff case

Afton resident Jane Pahl said Thursday she has decided not to appeal a judge's ruling regarding a legal action she filed against the city over the Cedar Bluff cluster development.

Washington County District Judge Richard C. Ilkka in December granted the city's request for summary judgment and dismissed Pahl's legal action on a procedural matter.

Pahl took the city to court a year ago... (but) Ilkka ruled Dec. 11 that Pahl's request for a writ of mandamus was not "an appropriate remedy in this case."

Pahl had until this week to appeal the ruling.
